AMERICAN OPPOSITION TO IRAQ WAR REACHES ALL-TIME HIGH
A new New York Times/CBS poll that six in 10 Americans now believe that the U.S. should never have invaded Iraq, while 75% say that things there are going badly or very badly. And further proof that there's a lack of support for the Bush administration's handling of Iraq: 76% of Americans (including the majority of Republicans), believe the decision to send more troops this year will have no impact or will worsen the situation in Iraq.
