"Wet and Rusting" (Barsuk)
The accessibly experimental indie pop band Menomena make their Barsuk debut after releasing two albums on the small label Film Guerrero in their hometown of Portland, OR. They create pleasant melodies with incredibly crafty structuring on this track from the album, Friend and Foe, out early next year. Every shift within the song is unexpected but completely unjarring.
