"Chips Ahoy" (Pitchfork)
Every music fan has a few bands that produce the confused reaction, "I just don't get it. I just don't understand why so many people think this band is so fucking great." For me, I'm most perplexed by the popularity of The Hold Steady. And after listening to this track from their upcoming album Boys and Girls, I'm still scratching my head.
